  This Fall we are encouraging everyone in our Holy Family parish to try something new and join together in reading the same book as a community, sharing in the insights, knowledge and spiritual growth we will gain from one another.
  
  Join Us on Sunday, August 27^th at 4:00 PM in Mary’s Chapel:
   

  • Books are free and will be available at the launch event in Mary’s Chapel.
  • Brief Overview of the book and the reading plan

  • Prayer and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with Father Hickey.
  • Refreshments to follow – St. Joseph’s Center.
  • We will have five weeks to read the book.

  A recent Pew Forum survey revealed the startling statistic that 69% of Catholics do not believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist… This indicates a spiritual disaster, for the Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.”
  In response to this crisis, Bishop Robert Barron, wrote “This Is My Body: A Call To Eucharistic Revival.”
   

  • In this brief text, Bishop Barron offers a threefold analysis of the Eucharist as sacred meal, sacrifice, and Real Presence
