- Advent Happenings at Holy Family
  
  Advent begins on Sunday, December 3, 2023. We hope that you will find the following list helpful as we set aside time during this holy Advent season to prepare for the coming of Baby Jesus at Christmas.
  
  PRAYER: If we set aside a regular time every day for prayer, it becomes a part
  of our pattern of living. Please incorporate the following into your daily prayer
  life during Advent.
  • Advent/Christmas: Books, pamphlets and flyers are available for free in
  the Church entry area.
  • The Little Blue Book: This book fits in your pocket and can be taken anywhere. Give six minutes a day
  to the Lord. This year the Little Blue Book will focus on the Gospel of Luke, along with Advent and
  Christmas traditions and customs.
  • Blessing Prayers: Please bless your Advent Wreath, Christmas Tree and Manger as you display them
  in your homes. Prayer sheets are available in the narthex or on our website. (Link to prayers)

  CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE &
  WISH LIST FOR NURSING HOMES AND PINE STREET INN

  CHRISTMAS PAGEANT & CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT
  Sunday, December 17th: 1:45 PM – 3:00 PM.
  
  1:45 PM Cardinal Cushing Carolers will join us again and share some of their favorite carols to start our program.
  
  2:00 PM Children's Christmas Pageant and Sing Along. Join with our Religious Education students
  in the retelling of the miraculous story of Christ’s birth and sing along with the Choir.
